Melva Persico
Title: Translator, Copyeditor, Proofreader
Certified Proofreader Overview
Hello, my name is Melva Persico. I am an educator and self-published author. Are you looking for assistance with your copyediting or proofreading tasks? I am at your service. I hold a PhD in Romance Studies (Spanish) from the University of Miami. My teaching career began at the high school level, where I taught English and Spanish. For more than two decades now, I have been teaching Spanish at the tertiary level. I have also engaged in moderation of examination materials for an international examining body.
I approach each task with empathy and attention to detail that I have developed from my years of teaching and from the courses I have completed in translation and proofreading. I look forward to helping you with the copyediting and proofreading of your materials.
