I am a former newspaper reporter/columnist/proofer (20+ years) and a skilled transcript proofreader.  The English language and written word are now and have always been my strengths and my favorite subjects.  I follow the rules in Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells.  I am a PDF proofreader, and I use PDF Annotator for my work.  I've earned positive reviews and can happily provide references.
