Certified Proofreader Overview

I am a skilled legal-transcript proofreader with many transcripts under my belt. Twenty-plus years ago, I began work as a newspaper reporter. I soon worked as a proofreader for that newspaper and several other local publications. I later decided to move into transcript proofreading, which is more exacting and has more variables that require a keen eye and mastery of grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and the ability to spot transpositions and similar mistakes specific to legal transcripts.
