I am a native English speaker with a degree in Linguistics and training in modern proofreading.

The funny thing about proofreading is that when it's done well, it's invisible, allowing your message to shine unhindered. My role is to remove distraction so that YOUR voice can be heard.

Give your words the polish they deserve!

I can proofread anything in English, including US, UK and Aus/NZ English. I use standard style guides like the Chicago Manual of Style (US), New Hart's Rules (UK) and the Australian Manual of Style, but of course will always be guided by your preferences.

I particularly love to work with fiction and narrative non-fiction (but I do not read extreme gore, horror or erotica). I also have specialist knowledge of medical terminology, as I am an experienced medical transcriptionist.
