Title: Proofreader and Copywriter
In a world where AI-generated content is becoming more commonplace, I ensure that your work feels human and resonates with others. Storytelling to create connections and foster relationships is one of the oldest human traditions, and I’m passionate about keeping it alive.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), and Master's degrees in Anthropology and Public Health from the University of New Mexico (UNM). During my time in grad school, I served as a graduate research assistant in several departments (including Anthropology, Health Education, and Public Health) and as an Evaluation Lab Fellow with the UNM Department of Public Policy. From 2020-2025, I worked full-time as an Evaluator, supporting organizations in data collection, analysis, and content creation.
I’m highly experienced in writing for academic and governmental backgrounds, as well as working in multiple formats and deliverable types. I’ve worked with a range of files, from technical reports to slide decks to infographics.
Before my academic career, I had always loved the idea of being a writer—telling stories, connecting with people, creating emotions and feelings within readers. I’ve found my passion in helping others tell their stories and using lived experiences to tackle tough problems. Understanding what makes us different and how we can connect across similarities is the best part of my professional life. Proofreading and copywriting gives me the ability to practice my writing and grammar skills while helping others with their businesses and content.
Outside of my working hours, I enjoy reading from (and adding to) pile of books next to my desk, planning bucket list trips, and collecting vintage salt & pepper shakers.
Email is the easiest way to contact me. My typical working hours are 9 AM – 5 PM MST, and I will respond to emails within 24 hours during the week.
