As a freelancer, I proofread mostly fiction, since I'm a fiction writer myself, having written and published sixteen novels. However, I can proofread anything written, within reason.
In my career outside of freelancing, I have added content to websites (including my own) such as product descriptions, updated SEO, updated the digital catalog, transferred products from company site to eBay.
In my last office job, I was a Technical Editor for a company that assisted new and operating power plants with documents and other things that needed NERC compliance. I helped incorporate changes that our clients wanted to their documents by converting PDFs to Word and adding the changes to Word. Once the changes were made to Word, the document would get printed as a PDF. I would also compare old files with the new files sent to us to see if there were any mistakes that needed fixing. My coworkers and I would QA each others work to make sure we didn't miss anything.
