Certified Proofreader Overview

I’ve edited and proofread copy (lead magnets, sales pages), ebooks, blog articles, resumes and emails.

I read each text multiple times and check the following:

- Typos and grammatical errors

- Spelling, capitalization and punctuation

- Spacing, page numbers and formatting

- Word choice (e.g. affect vs. effect)

- Repeated and omitted words

- US vs. UK English

- Style guidelines (if applicable)

I ensure that the text is clean, clear, concise, consistent, cohesive and contextual.

I also restructure and rewrite parts of the text as needed and leave detailed feedback that explains why and how I made changes.
