Certified Proofreader Overview

Hi! I’m a line editor, copyeditor, and proofreader who specializes in romance. I’m also a writer with a rom-com series in progress—currently four books in various stages of completion—that I plan to self-publish under a pen name. Romance the Page LLC was formed to join two of my favorite pastimes: reading romance and editing.

I’ve completed training and earned certificates in the following programs:

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. As a self-proclaimed course-junkie with an insatiable love for learning, I continue to take classes and participate in webinars to increase my knowledge and sharpen my skills. I also keep up with industry changes by maintaining active memberships in the Editorial Freelancers Association, ACES: The Society for Editing, and Freelancers Union.

Romance is my favorite genre, making up around 98 percent of my reading. Over the past five years, I’ve read and reviewed over 700 romance novels, and the number keeps growing.
